The cowrie measures 1cm long.
Solid sterling silver. 11.3g.
The cowrie has been used for centuries as a currency particularly in Africa and has always been a symbol of wealth.
Our half cowries are unique – they are in half not because we ddid that but beacuse they have been bitten in half by a predatory fish!!!
We loved the way they sat flat for pendants and bracelets and all by nature ….
