Pansy Shell Pendant Large
Unusual and striking – Pansy shells – so stories go – are coins that mermaids have dropped….
They usually have subtle markings on the front but we have taken this one and given it a highly polished finish. Stunning on a leather cord in the summer or a long chain in the winter.

Description
Our Pansy shells come from Pansy Island just off Mozambique. They are a type of flat urchin and are also known as Sand Dollars. When you find them they have been worn away by the sea and are paper thin, and usually are crushed to become part of the sand. It’s nerve wracking taking the mould as they crumble so easily.
