This tiny pansy shell shows beautiful detail and of the course the flower
Pansy shells are in fact urchins that burrow under the sand –
With their perfect flower marking – perhaps they are worn by mermaids ?
Or as one of the other stories go they are the coins that mermaids dropped.  Found on an island off the coast of Mozambique called Pansy Island.
